The Total Access 604 T1 ATM network interface is engineered specifically for VoATM and VoIP applications. It features a single T1 ATM network interface with integrated Echo Cancellation (G.168) and ADPCM (G.726) compression resources. Customers upgrading from 2nd Generation TA 612/616/624 T1 TDM to ATM will require an additional Echo Cancellation module unless the unit was initially equipped with it.
It supports customizable fixed FXS ports in configurations of 4, 8, 12, 16, or 24 ports, and utilizes a 50-pin female Amphenol connector for Carrier Class analog POTS interfaces. An integral IP router with 10/100BaseT Ethernet support enables advanced networking capabilities, including DHCP, NAT/PAT, packet filtering, and RIP V1/V2. The device also includes a Layer 2 PPP and Frame Relay V.35 synchronous DTE interface.
With a durable metal casing and a comprehensive 10-year warranty, the Total Access 604 ensures longevity and reliability. Furthermore, AC power is standard, with battery backup options available either separately or as a bundled package with the base unit.
