The Total Access 624 T1 TDM with DSX-1 System provides a robust single T1 TDM network interface designed for seamless migration to packet-based technologies such as ATM via software download. The unit offers superior audio quality with Echo Cancellation (G.168) and ADPCM (G.726) compression resources, making it ideal for upgrades to T1 ATM configurations.
This product includes various fixed FXS ports (available in configurations of 4, 8, 12, 16, or 24 ports) and optional FXO ports (8 ports available in the TA 624 model). It features a 50-pin female Amphenol connector for Carrier Class analog POTS interfaces and integrates an IP router with 10/100BaseT Ethernet capabilities.
Additionally, the IP router supports DHCP, NAT/PAT, packet filtering, and RIP V1/V2 through a Layer 2 PPP and Frame Relay V.35 synchronous DTE interface. The device ensures assured dial tone with Lifeline POTS functionality, all housed in a durable metal casing and backed by a 10-year warranty. An AC power option is available, with battery backup sold separately or as part of a bundle with the base unit.
