The Total Access 624 T1 ATM Network Interface is designed for VoATM and VoIP applications, offering a robust solution for high-performance networking. This device includes Echo Cancellation (G.168) and ADPCM (G.726) compression resources, crucial for high-quality voice transmission.
When upgrading from a 2nd Gen TA 612/616/624 T1 TDM to ATM, an additional Echo Cancellation and Compression Resource Module may be required unless included at the time of original order.
The device features fixed FXS ports (available in 4, 8, 12, 16, or 24 configurations) and utilizes a 50-pin female Amphenol connector for Carrier Class analog POTS interfaces. An integral IP router is included with 10/100BaseT Ethernet support, offering functionalities such as DHCP, NAT/PAT, packet filtering, and compatibility with RIP V1/V2.
Furthermore, it supports Layer 2 PPP and Frame Relay with a V.35 synchronous DTE interface. The durable metal casing ensures long-lasting performance, and the product comes with a 10-year warranty. Battery backup options are available either separately or bundled with the base unit.
