The Total Access 612 T1 ATM Network Interface Unit is engineered for optimal performance in VoATM and VoIP applications. It features a robust single T1 ATM network interface equipped with advanced Echo Cancellation (G.168) and ADPCM (G.726) compression resources.
This device facilitates an easy upgrade from the 2nd Generation TA 612/616/624 T1 TDM to ATM by allowing the addition of external modules (1200613L1 or 4200613L1) for Echo Cancellation and compression resources if they were not initially installed.
It comes with flexible analog POTS interface options available in configurations of 4, 8, 12, 16, or 24 fixed FXS ports, using a 50-pin female Amphenol connector. Additionally, the integral IP router offers 10/100BaseT Ethernet support, enabling features such as DHCP, NAT/PAT, packet filtering, and RIP V1/V2.
Connectivity also includes a Layer 2 PPP and Frame Relay V.35 synchronous DTE interface, all housed in a durable metal casing that ensures longevity and reliability. Backup power options are available separately or can be bundled with the base unit.
