The ADTRAN Smart 16e Dual AC Rackmount Shelf is designed to provide high-density WAN connectivity for central sites. Its modular design allows for the installation of up to 16 WAN communication devices, accommodating a wide variety of connectivity needs.
This shelf supports both 19" and 23" mounting options and can be powered by AC or DC sources. With an optional second power supply for redundancy, the Smart 16e ensures reliable operation. Its mid-plane design enables hot swapping for devices and power supplies without disruption.
Management of the devices is simplified with a common controller card, while SNMP management capabilities allow for efficient monitoring and troubleshooting through advanced network management programs.
