Adtran 4202023L2 Enhanced Smart 16 Shelf for Dual AC Power

The Enhanced Smart 16 Shelf offers a robust, high-density solution for central site WAN connectivity. Designed for flexibility, it accommodates a mix of 16 WAN communication devices, including ADTRAN's extensive range of ISDN, DDS, Switched 56, and FT1/T1 products. Configurable for both 19" or 23" mounting, it supports AC or DC power options with redundancy from an optional second power supply.

Its innovative mid-plane design enables hot swapping for all devices and power supplies. The common controller card streamlines configuration and control, and up to 15 additional shelves can be daisy-chained. Local or remote control is made easy via a VT 100 terminal or an optional handheld LCD display. The Smart 16e version includes SNMP Management capabilities, allowing for efficient configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting with standard SNMP network programs.
