Product Overview
The StarTech 35BAYUSB3S4 3.5" Front Bay to 4-Port USB Hub can be used when you are building a PC from the ground up or performing an upgrade. It turns any available 3.5" computer case front bay into a 4-port USB 3.0 hub. The optional Front Bay bracket adapter accessory can also be used to fit the StarTech USB 3.0 hub into a 5.25 inch bay. When the hub is installed, you can connect all your devices at once, including MP3 players that need to recharge and flash drives with data that you wish to retrieve. Each of the ports on this USB front panel hub is compliant with the USB 3.0 standard, which supports up to 5Gbps of bandwidth (10x faster than the USB 2.0 standard) and up to 900mA of power. This allows files to be transferred to and from connected devices quickly. It is also backwards compatible with previous USB standards and older devices, such as 2.0, 1.0 and 1.1.
