The NV 4430 is a cutting-edge Access Router designed for seamless Internet access, supporting MPLS, Frame Relay, and Ethernet services. It provides robust point-to-point and VPN connectivity, making it an ideal choice for enterprise networks.
Equipped with 2 NIM/DIM slots for existing NIMs and DIMs, the router also features 1 slot for a Wide Module (note: T3 and HSSI Wide Modules are not currently supported) along with 2 integral Gigabit/SFP module slots. Additionally, it includes a 10/100BaseT Ethernet interface.
Key features include advanced IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and RIP (V1 and V2), static routing, and 802.1d Bridging for all protocols. Managed through a Command Line Interface, this router supports Frame Relay and PPP WAN Protocols, SNMP, Telnet, and Craft/Console port access. It also supports TFTP and is equipped with a stateful inspection firewall for enhanced security.
The NV 4430 is designed in a compact 1U metal chassis, combining reliability with efficient space usage.
