The ADTRAN ISU 512 is a versatile ISDN multiplexing solution designed for efficient connectivity and data transfer over ISDN networks. Ideal for applications such as video conferencing, T1 backup, and high-speed file transfer, it offers a cost-effective way to establish high-bandwidth connections when needed.
The unit supports both V.35 and RS-530 DTE interfaces, allowing synchronous data rates from 56 kbps to 512 kbps. With the capability to use up to four Basic Rate ISDN (BRI) lines, the ISU 512 can deliver an aggregate bandwidth of up to 512 kbps, making it suitable for bursty data traffic.
Users can easily configure and manage the ISU 512 locally or remotely through a VT 100 terminal interface, featuring a user-friendly LCD display and keypad for monitoring and dialing functions.
