The MX2800 Multiplexer Chassis is designed for M13/STS-1 applications, providing a reliable solution for multiplexing. This chassis accommodates hot-swappable controller cards and supports various management protocols including SNMP, Telnet, and TL1 for seamless integration and monitoring.

Installation is straightforward thanks to its connectorized backplane. The chassis is capable of backhauling multiple service types, such as T1 and E1, and fits conveniently in either 19-inch or 23-inch racks.
