The Beckson Siphon-Mate Pump, part number 109PC, is a specialty transfer pump designed for the safe and efficient movement of diesel, oil, and water. This unit functions as both a displacement lift pump and a siphon pump, utilizing valves suitable for fuel transfer. It addresses the safety concerns associated with siphoning petroleum by mouth by providing a mechanical alternative. The pump initiates flow with half strokes, and once established, fully extending the handle enables siphoning, provided the source liquid is at a higher elevation than the receptacle. It is supplied with clear tubing that can be cut to desired lengths for intake and discharge. The Siphon-Mate is suitable for applications requiring the transfer of compatible liquids, with a lift capacity of 4 oz (0.12 L) per stroke. It is not intended for liquids exceeding 120 degrees F (49 degrees C) or solvents that may degrade PVC.
This pump is designed for transferring diesel, oil, and water. It is not suitable for solvents that will attack PVC.
The Beckson Siphon-Mate Pump is not intended for the transfer of liquids over 120 degrees F (49 degrees C).
The pump is supplied with clear tubing, which can be cut to the desired length for intake and discharge hoses.
To initiate siphoning, pump with half strokes until flow begins. Once flow is established, fully extending the handle will allow continuous siphoning, provided the source liquid is higher in elevation than the receptacle.
