PSS Shaft Seal Maintenance & Parts Replacement Kit
Designed for a 2.5" shaft and 3.5" tube, this maintenance kit ensures your PSS Shaft Seal stays in optimal condition. Regular inspection of the PSS bellows is essential, as they may wear due to aging or chemical exposure. It is advised to replace the bellows every six years. Additionally, during replacement, it’s recommended to change the o-rings and set screws in the stainless steel rotor.
In environments where non-sealed batteries produce sulfuric acid vapor, more frequent inspections may be necessary, as this vapor can accelerate rubber deterioration.
The kit contains all necessary components for proper maintenance, including one PSS bellow, two o-rings, five set screws, four hose clamps, and an allen key.
