Designed for 1 3/4" shafts and 3" tubes, the PSS Shaft Seal Maintenance Kit is essential for ensuring the longevity and effectiveness of your shaft seal system.
Regular inspection of the PSS bellows is crucial to detect any signs of wear, aging, or chemical deterioration. It is recommended to replace the PSS bellow every six years. When replacing the bellows, the accompanying o-rings and set screws in the stainless steel rotor should also be changed.
Frequent inspections are advised in environments where non-sealed batteries emit sulfuric acid, as this can accelerate rubber deterioration.
