PSS Shaft Seal Maintenance & Parts Replacement Kit
For 1 3/4" Shaft, 2 1/2" Tube
The PSS bellows require regular inspection to ensure they are free from wear, aging, or chemical deterioration. It is advised to replace the PSS bellow every six years. When replacing the bellows, it is also recommended to replace the O-rings and set screws found in the stainless steel rotor.
In environments where non-sealed batteries emit sulfuric acid, the bellows should be inspected more frequently, as sulfuric acid vapor can accelerate rubber deterioration. The same is true in the presence of ozone.
This Maintenance Kit contains everything necessary for the proper upkeep of your PSS Shaft Seal. Included in the kit are: one (1) PSS bellow, two (2) O-rings, five (5) set screws, four (4) new hose clamps, and an allen key.
