PSS Shaft Seal Maintenance & Parts Replacement Kit
Designed for 1 1/8" shaft and 1 3/4" tube, this maintenance kit ensures that your PSS shaft seal remains in optimal condition.
Regular inspection of the PSS bellows is crucial to identify any signs of wear, aging, or chemical exposure. It is recommended to replace the PSS bellow every six years, along with o-rings and set screws in the stainless steel rotor during the maintenance process.
In environments where non-sealed batteries emit sulfuric acid, more frequent inspections of the bellows are advised, as sulfuric acid vapor can accelerate rubber deterioration.
This Maintenance Kit includes everything needed for proper upkeep: one PSS bellow, two O-rings, five set screws, four hose clamps, and an allen key.
