PSS Shaft Seal Maintenance & Parts Replacement Kit
This kit is designed for 1 1/2" shafts with a 2 1/2" tube.
Regular inspection of the PSS bellows is essential to ensure longevity and performance. Look for any signs of wear, aging, or chemical deterioration. It is recommended to replace the PSS bellow every six years. With each replacement, also consider replacing the o-rings and set screws located in the stainless steel rotor.
If your environment includes non-sealed batteries that release sulfuric acid, or if you use an ozonator, the bellows should be inspected more frequently as these conditions can accelerate rubber deterioration.
