The PSS Shaft Seal is the leading marine mechanical seal globally, commonly used by prestigious boat manufacturers. Also recognized as an exceptional retrofit seal, it offers significant advantages by eliminating maintenance and costs associated with traditional packing type glands. This seal ensures a completely watertight seal, preventing water accumulation in the bilge and reducing wear on the propeller shaft.

The mechanical face seal is established between the stainless steel rotor and the stationary carbon flange, designed for ease of retrofit. It accommodates shaft sizes from 3/4" (20mm) to 6" (150mm). The stainless steel collar seals to the shaft with two durable o-rings that maintain contact during rotation without wear.
