A precision stand-alone heading sensor

The AutoComp 1000 employs cutting-edge digital fluxgate compass technology to deliver precise heading data for a variety of systems, including autopilots, GPS devices, video charts, radars, computers, and other electronic instruments. As a remote sensor, the AutoComp 1000 can be installed in magnetically clean areas (e.g., away from speakers, motors, wiring bundles, and other magnetic field influences). With its continuous automatic compensation feature, the sensor ensures that the most accurate heading data (within 0.5°) is consistently available.

The AutoComp 1000 is fully compatible with the NMEA 0183 output standard, and optional universal interface cards are offered for integration with other interface protocols.
