The Tangent Element Tk Control Panel is an advanced "Trackerball" interface that is part of a modular set of Element panels designed to replace traditional keyboard and mouse setups for enhanced control over various color-grading software. This panel enables users to achieve precise results more efficiently and with greater technical satisfaction than conventional input methods. Compatible applications include DaVinci Resolve, SCRATCH, On-Set Dailies, Mistika, and YoYo, among others.
Each control on the panels can be programmed and reprogrammed for different functions. The specific functionalities of each panel are determined by the software manufacturers, who provide details in their respective manuals or through customer support channels.
Once programmed, the functionality of each control is displayed on the panel's screen, and can be updated as needed. The OLED display features crisp, high-contrast characters for easy readability.

They are USB-powered and utilize plug-and-play connectivity without the need for additional drivers. Additionally, the panels can work with Tangent's HUB service for personalized control layouts, provided the supporting software is HUB API compatible.
