Overview

This Engine Flush Kit is equipped with a quarter-turn quick-release plug that enhances safety and flexibility for any marine water system. The kit allows for instant emergency bilge pumping or simplifies winterization and flushing of the cooling system.

Emergency Usage

In case of emergency, while the engine is running, simply close the seacock and remove the quick-release plug. The engine's raw water pump will effectively pump out excess bilge water. For pumping out remote bilge areas, consider utilizing the GROCO BSA.

Winterization Process

To winterize your engine, close the seacock, remove the quick-release plug, and use the included service adaptor to inject anti-freeze into the cooling system.

System Flushing

To flush your cooling system, close the seacock and connect the service adaptor. You can use dockside water with the engine running at idle to effectively cleanse the system.
