It has a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 22dB. When powered on, it utilizes built-in directional microphones to amplify ambient sounds up to a safe 82dB, enabling you to hear important commands and crucial environmental sounds during hunting.
This earmuff also features automatic amplification cut-off when loud impulsive sounds, such as firearm discharges, exceed 82dB, providing additional hearing protection. Air Flow Control technology ensures a slim earcup design that allow for a comfortable fit without interfering with firearm stock clearance. The padded headband is adjustable for a customized fit, and an external audio jack allows connection to music devices or scanners.
The battery provides approximately 350 hours of usage, and an automatic shut-off feature activates after 4 hours to conserve battery life. All Howard Leight electronic earmuffs and safety eyewear are designed to be compatible with each other.
