This phone is equipped with a wideband audio handset connected through an RJ-9 port, ensuring clear audio quality.
Designed for flexibility, it comes with a USB port for headset compatibility and backlit indicators on crucial keys such as the audio path keys, mute key, select key, line keys, and message waiting. It can also be wall-mounted using the optional 6800 Series wall-mount kit that is sold separately.
Additionally, the Cisco 6871 provides electronic hookswitch headset support via its auxiliary port and supports various cable categories including Category 3, 5, 5e, and 6 for optimal data transmission. It supports IEEE 802.3af PoE (Class 3), with power consumption not exceeding 12.95W, making it energy-efficient and suitable for any office environment.
