Tripp Lite's Dual Source Hot-Swap PDU systems are designed to ensure seamless operation by enabling live replacement of standard UPS systems without any interruption to connected server or networking loads. With dual input power cables, these PDUs can connect to separate Utility and UPS power sources. A manual transfer switch, equipped with lighted status indicators, allows you to control the power source to connected equipment. During normal usage, set the switch to 'UPS' for uninterrupted, fully conditioned power. When a UPS needs maintenance, switch to 'Utility' momentarily to bypass the UPS before replacing it. After the new UPS is operational and all connections are restored, revert to 'UPS' for continued protection and power conditioning.
