The DRS6AX X-Class Radar represents a significant advancement in radar technology, offering improved target detection capabilities at both short and long distances—detecting targets at ranges up to 120 nautical miles. Its newly designed pedestal is 20% lighter than previous models and incorporates an updated low-noise motor for quieter operation.
Installation is made easier with the innovative smart-connector cable, eliminating the need to open the pedestal unit during setup. The system operates on a 24V supply, and a converter is required for use with 12V power systems. The DRS6AX is compatible with NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2 systems, although it does not work with NavNet 3D or earlier models.
With features like Fast Target Tracking™, derived from the commercial FAR3000 radar, users can easily view target vectors to enhance situational awareness and overall safety on the water.
