Ancor's Marine Grade wire is designed for maximum durability and longevity, surpassing industry standards set by UL 1426, ABYC, and the US Coast Guard Charter boat regulations (CFR Title 46). Constructed with high-quality vinyl insulation, this wire is rated for 600V, with an operating temperature of up to 105°C (dry) and 75°C (wet). It remains flexible in extreme cold (down to -40°F/-40°C) and is resistant to salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and UV radiation.
The ultra-flexible (Type 3) tinned copper stranding offers excellent corrosion protection and combats electrolysis while minimizing fatigue caused by vibration and bending.
