The McMurdo SmartFind M15S is an affordable AIS Class B receiver designed for those on a budget. It effectively receives all Class A, Class B, AIS SART, AIS MOB, and AIS Base Station transmissions. Users can easily plot these positions on their chartplotter or PC/Mac using the supplied PC AIS Viewer software. With dimensions of only 128 mm x 88 mm x 36 mm, this compact device is simple to install and supports integration with existing navigation systems through its NMEA0183 or USB interfaces.

This model features an innovative built-in VHF splitter, allowing the M15S to share the antenna with a user’s VHF Radio, making it a cost-effective and easy-to-install solution, eliminating the need for an additional aerial. The unit can be powered externally or via USB.
